2012 is upon us and complying with professional competencies is now recognised as being one of the ingredients that leads to sustainable growth and success. Here at Accurate Roofing we are pleased to announce that we have added Safecontractor to our Constructionline, CHAS and EXOR accreditations, which with the assistance of the Safecontractor accreditation, made our renewal of the other three much easier and less time consuming.

Talking of sustainability, the CITB and CSCS have a planned change to the CSCS tests. The changes are to include environmental questions, questions on the new universal hazard symbols, respiratory questions and questions on health and safety behavioural studies. These changes will commence this coming April.

As part of our Company Development and Training Plan, we are pleased to announce that D Bloomfield and N Smith achieved their NVQ III as Occupational Works Supervisors and that B Singleton, R Beattie and J Fernyhough have achieved their Built Up Bitumous Roofing NVQ II.
Congratulations to all employees.

Our annual training plan will commence in February when we will be equipping our new employees with the following:

  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Fire Training
  • Lanyard and Harness
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Trade and supervisor training will also be made available to all employees subject to their ability and experience.

The new year is fully upon us and we recognise that it is a legal requirement to maintain a professionally trained and competent workforce, one that is able to satisfy the highest requirements of all of our clients and one that assists to ensure the sustainability and development of our company.

Wishing you a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

    William. Company Development Manager.
