2012 is upon us and complying with professional competencies is now recognised as being one of the ingredients that leads to sustainable growth and success. Here at Accurate Roofing we are pleased to announce that we have added Safecontractor to our Constructionline, CHAS and EXOR accreditations, which with the assistance of the Safecontractor accreditation, made our renewal of the other three much easier and less time consuming. Talking of sustainability, the CITB and CSCS have a planned change to the CSCS tests. Accurate Roofing Go Cart Christmas Fun Day.

Our annual Christmas fun day turned out to be the most competitive ever. Following the success of last years clay pigeon shooting (nobody got shot) I am pleased to announce as H&S Manager, that nobody was run over at this year’s event; Go Kart Racing. Our most Senior Project Manager came the closest by testing his vehicle in reverse (no known gear in a go Kart) when colliding head on with Gavin May. Further mayhem ensued when Barry, the aforementioned reversing expert, while focusing intently on the vehicles passing him, refused to see the return to the pits instruction, thus infuriating his endurance and very competitive team mate, Mr Adrian Humphries. ...

SMSTS NVQ TRAINING UPDATE

Welcome to the new improved Accurate Roofing website.   Training Update The planned culmination of our two year training programme is now reaching its fruition with our current employees attaining their NVQ trade and supervisory certificates and appropriate upgrades to their CSCS cards. Today I got to grips with next year’s training programme and with the new intake of employees, it has now become necessary to run our series of training courses twice annually. Our standard training plan for roofing operatives includes: Asbestos awareness, lanyard and harness, Abrasive Wheels, Fire Training and Emergency First Aid.
