Welcome to the new improved Accurate Roofing website.

Training Update

The planned culmination of our two year training programme is now reaching its fruition ¬†with our current employees attaining their NVQ trade and supervisory certificates and appropriate upgrades to their CSCS cards. Today I got to grips with next year’s training programme and with the new intake of employees, it has now become necessary to run our series of training courses twice annually. Our standard training plan for roofing operatives includes: Asbestos awareness, lanyard and harness, Abrasive Wheels, Fire Training and Emergency First Aid. Our labourers who have shown willing and have the necessary experience and skill base, after three years of employment, are encouraged to embark on a roofing level 2 QCF /NVQ trade qualification. Later, having shown good professional leadership skills, employees are again encouraged to move into Supervisory and Management positions.

The first five of six recent QCF / NVQ’s awards are at the Supervisory level and have been attained by our trained operatives as part of their Professional Development.
We are also pleased to announce that our Mr Phil Totten has recently been promoted from works supervisor to heading up our Single Ply Contracts Department and that our two other Project Managers, Mr Barry Newlands and Mr Mark Griffiths have just successfully updated their SMSTS qualifications.
Training and Development is here to stay. It is recognised at Accurate Roofing as a necessary legal, commercial, moral and professional investment that ensures the well being of the company, the safety of its employees and clients, and preserves the quality of our work.
Thanks for reading and congratulations to all of our employees who have recently gained new qualifications.
